How Do I Publish Content in Fireside?
For creators, we have a range of art, templates, and logos to help you accomplish your ideas for Coyote & Crow, and we have created comprehensive guidelines to start sharing your worlds with the real world.
Creators retain the rights to the material they publish. If you want to borrow from another creator’s work, you must get their permission first and always credit their work.
Logos and Artwork
The Coyote & Crow log and Fireside logo must appear on your title’s cover in a clear and legible fashion, even in thumbnail form. The logo may be resized but may not otherwise be altered in any way. Coyote & Crow LLC provides a Style Guide, logos, templates, and other artwork you may use in your content. Creators using artwork other than these select pieces from Coyote & Crow LLC are assumed to have paid for the right to use it. Using artwork illegally is grounds for dismissal from the Fireside program.
AI Content Policy
Do not use art created by someone else without permission. AI Art (e.g. Midjourney, Dall-E). Until there is a system in place to recompense artists for their inclusion in AI art databases we do not approve of the use of AI art within content posted as part of this program.
Coyote & Crow LLC follows DriveThruRPG and Roll20 Guidelines in regards to AI Writing and Editing. Update July 19th, 2023: While we value innovation, starting on July 31st 2023, Roll20 and DriveThru Marketplaces will not accept commercial content primarily written by AI language generators. We acknowledge enforcement challenges, and trust in the goodwill of our partners to offer customers unique works based primarily on human creativity. As with our AI-generated art policy, community content program policies are dictated by the publisher that owns it.

Once you’ve created your content, click through the Community Content Agreement with OneBookShelf and upload it.
Payment & Pricing
Creators can offer their work at a set price, “Pay What You Want,” or free of charge ($0). You can check the site for sales data, plus ratings, and reviews of your work. You should promote it on your own social media and other outlets where roleplaying game fans gather. Please use the hashtag #CoyoteAndCrowFireside where applicable.
Based on historic data from DriveThruRPG sales for PDFs, the most successful price points are $1.00, $2.00, $2.95, $3.95, $4.99, $7.95, $10.00, $14.95, and $19.99. You should also compare your price to existing Coyote & Crow LLC products to get a sense for what the market is used to.
Once you activate your Fireside title for public sale, your account will begin to accrue a 60% royalty every time your title sells. You can withdraw your accumulated royalties via PayPal by going to the My Money section of the Account page. Note that the My Money section of your Account page will not display until you have a balance accrued.
There is a $2 fee to cover the cost of each withdrawal, but you will pay no other fees, either to us or to PayPal, to receive your money.
To prevent certain types of fraud, we must hold back the amount of royalties you earned in the past 60 days from being eligible for withdrawal. The amount eligible for withdrawal at any time is your total account earnings balance less the amount earned in the past 60 days. You may use your earnings as site credit to pay for orders on site; this will lower your earnings balance and the amount eligible for withdrawal.
We pay royalties only via PayPal. Creating a PayPal account is free and easy, and in most countries, you can connect your PayPal account to your bank account and transfer money from PayPal to your bank in a few business days.
